For over three decades, Black Swamp Percussion has dedicated itself to crafting world-class percussion instruments, earning the trust of musicians, students, and educators globally. In 2023, we proudly launched our Overture brand, a streamlined collection of essential accessory percussion designed to deliver exceptional performance without breaking the bank.
Our Overture journey began years prior with the introduction of the Overture tambourine, a 10” double-row instrument featuring brass jingles, a Remo Renaissance head, and a ply-Maple shell – our first step towards accessible concert and orchestral sound.
Building on this foundation, 2023 saw the Overture brand expand with the release of a lively trio of woodblocks and a remarkably cool castanet machine boasting fiber cups with an elastic-free mounting system. And now, we're thrilled to introduce the latest addition to the series:

Overture Steel Triangle Specifications:
Available in 6" and 8" sizes – the most commonly used dimensions in band and orchestra music – Overture Steel Triangles are constructed from robust 11mm heat-treated steel and finished with a durable chrome plating. True to Black Swamp design, they feature classic pointed tips, a distinctive element that contributes to their unique sound profile. Both sizes produce a clear, resonant tone with the ideal sustain and color, making them suitable for a wide spectrum of solo and ensemble performances.
The Overture Steel Triangles are available in 6" and 8" models, and while this choice offers sonic variety, it’s important to know that both sizes are cut from the same cloth.
