YoungKyoung Lee is a percussionist specializing in solo and chamber performance, with appearances across Japan, Korea, the U.S., Canada, and Spain. She is a founding member of 3D Percussion and has performed with ensembles such as the Korean Traditional Percussion Ensemble, Peabody Percussion Group, Yale Percussion Group, and Eastman Percussion Ensemble. YoungKyoung holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and Yale School of Music, where she studied with Tom Freer and Robert van Sice, and is currently pursuing a D.M.A. at Eastman with Michael Burritt. She teaches at Ball State University and is an artist endorser for Vic Firth, Zildjian, Pearl/Adams, and Black Swamp Percussion.
