Dr. Ryan C. Lewis is Associate Professor of Percussion at Ouachita Baptist University, where he leads a diverse percussion program and teaches music history. A versatile performer, he has appeared with ensembles ranging from major symphonies to chamber groups and world music artists, including So Percussion, Third Coast Percussion, and Liam Teague. His academic work includes publications, national conference presentations, and a forthcoming biography on xylophone pioneer George Hamilton Green. A passionate educator and scholar, Lewis blends performance excellence with historical insight, making him a respected voice in both the concert hall and the classroom.
