Based in North Mississippi, Ryan is a dynamic percussionist and music educator who serves as the Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Percussion at New Hope High School. His extensive career includes teaching, composing, and performing for numerous organizations across the United States, including DCI, WGI, the NFL, and the NBA. A veteran of the drum and bugle corps activity, Ryan was a performing member of the 7th Regiment and later served as an instructor for Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps and on the board of directors for the 7th Regiment Youth Performing Arts Organization. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Mississippi Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society and holds a Master's in Musicology from West Virginia University, a Bachelor's in Music Education from Delta State University, and an Associate's degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College. Ryan is a proud endorser for Salyers Percussion, Ludwig-Musser, and Black Swamp Percussion.
