Dr. Ryan Frost is a versatile percussionist and educator serving as Instructor of Percussion at Wartburg College. His work blends performance and scholarship, featuring frequent presentations at national conferences, commissions of new works by prominent composers like Michael Burritt and Kevin Bobo, and performances with regional orchestras such as the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony. A specialist in world percussion, Dr. Frost studied drumming and dance in Ghana and serves on the Percussive Arts Society World Percussion Committee. He holds degrees from West Virginia University, Middle Tennessee State University, and the University of Northern Iowa, and is an endorsed artist for Black Swamp Percussion and Innovative Percussion.
