Dr. Nicholaus Meyers is Director of Bands and Percussion and Chair of the Department of Performing Arts at East Central University in Oklahoma, where he leads ensembles, teaches percussion and conducting, and hosts the annual Tigerpalooza marching band competition. A Voting Member of the Recording Academy GRAMMYs, he previously taught at North Dakota State University, Valley City State, and others, and has performed with ensembles including the Fargo-Moorhead and Augusta Symphonies. A published composer and active clinician, Meyers holds degrees from Augusta State, the University of Tennessee, and North Dakota State, and is President of the Oklahoma PAS Chapter. He endorses Yamaha, Sabian, Aquarian, Black Swamp, Gon Bops, and Innovative Percussion.
