Miguel Cruz is a distinguished percussion master, musical innovator, and cultural ambassador serving as a percussionist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru and a professor at the National University of Music. A passionate advocate for the marimba, he has performed as a guest artist and orchestral soloist at numerous international festivals, including the VIBRACIONES International Marimba Festival and the CIRCOMPER International Contemporary Music Festival. As a cultural manager, he has founded several artistic projects such as the MALLETRIX Percussion Ensemble and his current ISKAY Project, which promotes the concert marimba as a chamber instrument. Mr. Cruz holds a Master's degree in Musical Composition with New Technologies from the International University of La Rioja, Spain, and is an official artist for Marimba One and Black Swamp Percussion.
