As a long-time member of the acclaimed NDR-Big Band (The Hamburg Radio Jazz Orchestra), he has recorded and toured with a remarkable list of jazz legends, including Pat Metheny, Bobby McFerrin, Maria Schneider, and Al Jarreau. His independent performance career is equally impressive, featuring collaborations with artists such as Carla Bley, the Brecker Brothers, John Scofield, and Jacob Collier. In addition to his extensive work as a performer, Mr. Doctor is a prolific composer and producer, having created music for radio features, films, and theatre, with his soundtracks being featured at film festivals worldwide.
