Jordan Shippy is an active percussionist and educator who has performed across the United States at venues such as Lindenwood University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and Arkansas Tech University. Primarily a soloist and member of the percussion chamber group Colour Me Crimson, he is dedicated to commissioning new works from under-represented composers. Jordan serves on the percussion faculty at Sacramento State, conducts clinics for local high schools in the Sacramento area, and is a member of the Black Swamp Percussion Educator Network. He holds a DMA in percussion performance from the University of Oklahoma and an MM from Sacramento State.
