Jason Stinson is an active educator, arranger, clinician, adjudicator, and performer based in Muskogee, Oklahoma, where he serves as the Percussion Coordinator for Muskogee Public Schools and teaches a large private studio through the Zomac School of Music. He is also on staff with the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy, where he writes, arranges, and teaches for a camp serving over 400 student musicians. Jason holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education and percussion education from East Central University, studying under Dr. Ben Finley and Dr. Nick Meyers. He is an educational artist with Black Swamp Percussion, Salyers/Encore Percussion, and DREAM Cymbals, and holds a leadership role in the Oklahoma Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society. Recent accomplishments include presenting at the 2022 OkMEA conference and performing with the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra.
