Dr. Jason Kihle is the Director of Percussion Studies and Assistant Director of Bands at the University of North Dakota, where he also serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor. With extensive experience in both percussion and band leadership, he has held prior faculty positions at the University of Jamestown and Texas A&M University–Kingsville. A dedicated educator and performer, Dr. Kihle holds degrees in music education and percussion performance from the University of North Dakota and the University of Northern Colorado, where he earned his Doctor of Arts. His career reflects a strong commitment to developing percussion programs and mentoring students at the collegiate level.
