Dr. Miranda is an international percussionist and educator who has performed and taught extensively in Brazil, Panama, and throughout the United States. He has been a featured concerto soloist with professional orchestras on two continents and has performed at major conferences, including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). A dedicated chamber musician, he founded the Dynamic Duo (violin and percussion) and is a member of the Black Sheep Percussion quartet. Dr. Miranda contributes to the field as a published author in Percussive Notes and by commissioning works from world-renowned composers. His career includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities and performing with ensembles like the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. He is an endorsed artist for Sabian Cymbals, Salyers Percussion, and Black Swamp Percussion.
