Federico Tramontana is an award-winning Italian percussionist and educator specializing in contemporary and experimental music. As a member of Duo Dubois since 2011, he collaborates with numerous composers in the creation of new music. He also works with various chamber ensembles and projects. He has performed at major international festivals including the Venice Biennale, where he received the Best Performance award in 2022 and served as a tutor in 2024. Currently a professor at the Bari Conservatory, his discography includes releases on Naxos and Stradivarius. He holds degrees from the Vibo Valentia Conservatory and the Bern University of the Arts.
