With over a decade of experience in arts leadership and higher education, Andrew Worden is a composer, percussionist, and creative entrepreneur based in Austin, TX. A former Assistant Dean of Entrepreneurship at the New England Conservatory (NEC), he has a proven track record of helping artists and creative ventures succeed, having coached creatives in securing over $500k in funding and designed entrepreneurship programs for NEC and UT Austin. As an acclaimed composer, his music has been performed in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Chicago Symphony Center by renowned ensembles such as the Paris Percussion Group and Third Coast Percussion. Andrew is also a dedicated educator who has led workshops at institutions like the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Monterey Jazz Festival, and is the co-founder of the indie/rock percussion collective, The Big Trouble. He holds a Master of Music and a Certificate in Arts Leadership from the Eastman School of Music.
