Douglas Rowe is an emerging artist and educator based in North Carolina, currently serving as Professor of Percussion at Catawba College and teaching music at Hemby Bridge Elementary School. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Wingate University and a Master’s in Percussion Performance from UNC School of the Arts. An active performer, Doug plays with the Union Symphony Orchestra and other regional ensembles, and is a founding member of the jazz group Real Deal Jazz. He is a dedicated clinician, arranger, and composer, recognized for excellence in music education and endorsed by Salyers Percussion.
