Brian Lindsay is a versatile percussionist and educator who currently serves as the Assistant Director and Percussion Director for the New Hope High School and Middle School Bands in his hometown of Columbus, Mississippi. An active performer, he plays regularly for area churches and has performed with numerous ensembles, including the MS Baptist Symphony Orchestra and the Alabama Winds. Mr. Lindsay has a proven track record of leading high school bands to success, achieving multiple top-five placements at state marching championships with both Louisville and North Pontotoc High Schools. Previously, he served as the Assistant Professor of Music and Percussion Director at William Carey University, where he directed various ensembles, including the jazz band and pep band, and taught courses in percussion and music education. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Alabama, where he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant and worked with the Million Dollar Band, and a Bachelor's in Music Education from Delta State University.
