An award-winning percussionist and educator, Brennan Connolly is a versatile musician active across numerous genres. He performs regularly with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and the Jeans ānā Classics Rock Symphony, in addition to appearances with several other orchestras and as a theatre musician for the Stratford Festival and Drayton Entertainment. For the last decade, he has deeply studied the traditional drum-dance music of Ghana with master drummer Kwasi Dunyo. Brennan teaches studio percussion at Wilfrid Laurier University, delivers workshops as a guest clinician, and is a founding member of the contemporary chamber ensemble Duo Percussion. He holds a Master of Music from Oklahoma City University, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario, and is an endorsed artist for Pearl/Adams, Dream Cymbals and Gongs, and Black Swamp Percussion.
