Based in Boston for three decades, Bertram Lehmann is a highly sought-after drummer whose supple and fluid style has graced jazz, Latin, and world music stages globally. He has performed and recorded with an extensive list of acclaimed artists, including Paquito D'Rivera, Randy Brecker, Dave Liebman, and Luciana Souza, and has toured internationally, appearing at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, and the Istanbul Jazz Festival. Renowned for his long-standing associations with top New England ensembles like Mango Blue and Natraj, Bertram is also a dedicated educator, serving as an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music and teaching at Phillips Academy. He has presented clinics at universities worldwide, from Harvard to the Moscow Conservatory, and is featured on over 50 recordings across a wide spectrum of genres.
