Ben Blackketter is a percussionist and educator based in the greater Indianapolis area, holding a Master’s degree in Percussion Performance from Butler University. He is an active performer with ensembles such as the Indiana Wind Symphony, Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra, and Hendricks Orchestra, and has played drum set for Doc Severinsen at the 2018 Annual Trumpet Conference. Ben serves as Drumline Instructor at Indiana State University, teaches at Cathedral High School and Westfield Intermediate and Middle School, and works with Vibe Music Academy. With over a decade of teaching experience, he provides percussion instruction to students of all ages across marching, concert, and ensemble settings.
