Award-winning percussionist Bella Scotti (b. 2000, she/they) is a dynamic performer and educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance at the University of Texas at Austin, where she serves as a Percussion Studio Teaching Assistant. Bella holds a BA, Professional Performance Certificate, and MM in Percussion Performance from Penn State University, where she also served as Teaching Assistant. An active performer, Bella has appeared with ensembles including the Altoona Symphony, Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, and New Orchestra of Washington, and has taught at Interlochen Arts Camp and the State College Concert Percussion Academy. Dedicated to making percussion more accessible through collaboration, advocacy, and education, she serves on the Percussive Arts Society Education Committee and is an endorsed educator with Sonaris Percussion and Black Swamp Percussion.
