José David Rodríguez Ramírez

Percussionist and Symphonic Conductor, with experience in the interpretation and teaching of symphonic percussion; traditional and popular music. I have participated in concerts and recordings with groups such as FILMO - Film Music Orchestra Bogotá, Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín, and Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela. I have dedicated much of my time in teaching symphonic percussion instruments in Band, Orchestra and Chamber Music. As a Symphonic Conductor, my career has been focused on the diffusion and commissioning of pieces of Latin American music of erudite and traditional character.
