
Jordan Walsh

Jordan walsh is a percussionist, producer, and educator based in Austin, Texas. A proponent of electronics and theater in contemporary music, Walsh strives to perform the most absurd art with the most genuine fervor. An avid collaborator, Walsh can often be found performing with new music sinfonietta Density512, experimental folk band Middle Sattre, orchestral pop outfit Maru Haru, minimalist doom metal bands including Goliath Was Bigfoot & Waco Girls, and their spoken word duo Peach Blossom Highway. As a soloist, they frequently appear in both collegiate and industry settings, including recent performances on KMFA 89.5's celebrated Offbeat series and the South X Southwest Golden Hornet Composer Showcase.
Jordan currently serves as applied music faculty at Austin Community College & Southwestern University, and frequently works as a classical record producer both in Texas and beyond. He is proud to endorse Black Swamp Percussion.
