Anthony's Percussion Pick

Designed in collaboration with Anthony DiSanza, the Black Swamp Percussion DTT Triangle Trigger allows for exceptional triangle performance using sticks, mallets or hands. The DiSanza Triangle Trigger isn't meant to replace holding and striking the triangle in a traditional manner, but provides a solution to performance situations where time won't allow it: musical theatre, multiple percussion, limited personnel.

Artist Q&A
What is the oldest BSP instrument you own? What was your first?
I have used Black Swamp products since Eric started the company in the early 1990's. Eric and I were both playing the orchestral circuit in Michigan/Ohio and my first purchase from Eric were bass drum mallets he was making at the time.
What does your typical practice routine look like? Do you have a favorite place to practice?
I practice almost exclusively in my home basement studio. My large collection of instruments allows me to do all of my work at home. My routine changes depending on what I am practicing (i.e. chamber music, orchestra, solo percussion, global percussion, etc).
What is your favorite practice technique? Anything creative or out of the ordinary?
I apply a great deal of improvisation in my practice routine. I have codified routines and approaches that apply improvisational practice to non-improvised music.
What is your favorite performance memory?
After 40 years of professional performance, I do not think I can put my finger on a favorite memory, but I will never forget falling off the stage in middle school while playing a concert due to a broken ankle . Yikes!!
What inspires your creativity?
Everything around me everyday!!!!
