MultiBass Drums

The MultiBass™ is your solution for multipercussion solo or ensemble performance. These chamber music bass drums feature telescoping legs that allow you to perfectly position the drum within any setup. Legs also slide and lock quickly, allowing various musicians to adjust and comfortably play the MultiBass during performance.

Morris Palter

The MultiBass was released in 2012, and designed in collaboration with Morris Palter, BSP Artist. Like many percussionists, Morris was searching for a bass drum that was as versatile as his performance experience. Not only did the drum need to be innovative and well designed, but also user friendly with an exceptional sound. All Black Swamp Hallmarks and standards of Morris Palter.

MultiBass Features

Telescoping Legs

Attached legs are made from lightweight aluminum, and quickly adjust up or down to easily position the drum angled or flat. Legs tuck away against the shell for transport.

Low Profile Hoop

Hoop lugs are attached directly to the low profile hoop, and will not shift around like traditional claws. Shorter hoops decrease stick interference during performance.

Arch2 Lugs

Exclusive Arch2 lugs were designed specifically to match the unique look of our famous arch style tube lugs. The self-aligning tube receivers ensure easy and consistent tuning.

Maple Shells

5-ply Maple shells with custom bearing edges produce a warm and musical sound. Two classy finish options: Concert Black and a custom Figured Anigre veneer.
