We've designed our professional temple blocks to be the perfect combination of exceptional sound and practical functionality. You'll be amazed by the way we've constructed these blocks, bending solid ash wood into unique shapes. This is the sound of real wood temple blocks that plastic or square blocks will never duplicate - warm, round, and full.

These blocks have a warm and round sound that is lively and projecting. We bend a solid piece of ash for the main body of the block and enclose the ends with Finnish birch plywood. Not only does the solid wood make for better sounding temple blocks (think solid shell snare drums), but the unique shape increases the impact strength significantly!

Our bentwood temple blocks are truly in line, making them easier to play than any other blocks. Not only are all the playing areas at the same vertical level, but all the front edges of the blocks are in line by means of our specially designed solid maple mounting bar. Also, by nature of our curved design, the sweet spot on our blocks are 3-4 times larger than the dime size sweet spots found on square blocks. Play with confidence that when you hit it, it'll sound great!

Each block is mounted with a clamp that fits over a standard 3/8" knurled post, so you can have total freedom and versatility in the number and arrangement of blocks. For example, if you only need 3 blocks for a certain piece, you can use the other posts on our mounting bar for other percussion items like woodblocks or cowbells.
