Joseph Gramley, Multi-Percussionist, is a soloist and chamber musician who has presented performances at concert halls throughout the world. A native of Oregon, Mr. Gramley gave his solo debut recital at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in New York and his concerto debut with the Houston Symphony, conducted by Christoph Eschenbach, both in 1992 after graduating from the University of Michigan the same year. After receiving a Master's degree from New York 's Juilliard School in 1995, Mr. Gramley performed for four years with the Ethos Percussion Group, touring extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Since embarking on a solo career, Mr. Gramley has been an active recitalist and collaborator. He is percussionist for Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project, and in this capacity has toured throughout the world premiering numerous compositions.
