Kwang Seo Park, educator and innovator, is one of the most influential percussionists in Korea, where he has led percussion music to the next level, and his passion and devotion for percussion has been widely honored.
Mr. Parks’s music experience includes performances with National Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Taiwan Century Symphony Orchestra, Vienna ORF Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan National Percussion Convention, Busan Municipal Symphony Orchestra, Junju World Sound Festival, Choonchun Internatioanl Puppet Festival and more.
His professional experiences and achievements include President of Korea Percussion Society, founder of KNUA Percussion Ensemble, founder of Seoul Percussion Ensemble, Head of KBS Symphony Orchestra, Head of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Vice-Head of National Symphony Orchestra, Member of Vienna ORF Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, Member of Korea Festival Ensemble Chamber Music and much more.
Mr. Park graduated from the Vienna National University of Music Percussion Department, having studied under Walter Veigl, R. Hochreiner, and Gerald Fromme. In addition, he studied at Vienna National University of Music Department of Education. Mr. Park is currently teaching at Korea National University of Art as head professor and influencing so many people’s lives.
