Two layers of chamois over a wood core produces a highly articulate tone with less initial contact sound as the CF6 wood model.
David Gross mallets are precision turned from the finest selct hard maple, with the shaft and mallet core lathed as a single piece. Individual sticks are pitch and weight matched to insure consistent tone and feel for every pair. Various inner and exterior felt densities are used to acheive a variety of tonal colors and dynamic contrast. The exterior felt is meticulously hand sewn and fitted to each mallet precisely. |
