A large wood core with black felt covering, on a 5/16" diameter shaft, results in our most aggressive carbon fiber mallet. Useful for solo literature and more contemporary pieces requiring powerful articulation or contrasting timbre.
The Carbon Fiber Series timpani mallets consist of seven models of varying felt thickness and core hardness, extending tonal and dynamic versatility. The mallets are weight and pitch matched precisely, with the carbon fiber shafts providing consistent feel and response with no vibration feedback. The exterior felt is meticulously hand sewn and fitted to each mallet precisely. |
