The BSP Multi-Bass
A New Concept in Bass Drums for the Multi-Percussionist
Working in conjunction with percussionist Morris Palter (Univ. Alaska Fairbanks), we have created the first bass drum that easily works within any multi-percussion setup.
Morris needed a bass drum that set up quickly, was easy to transport, and most importantly, had a sound that worked for modern percussion literature.
The Multi-Bass is available in 18", 20", 22", and 24" diameters. All drums are 14" deep and use Evans EQ3 bass heads. Go ahead and use sticks, mallets, or bass beaters on the drum - it'll sound great!

Additional Features
Telescoping Legs
The most distinctive feature of the BSP Multi-Bass are the telescoping legs that are attached directly to the bass drum. The legs are super lightweight aluminum, and quickly telescope up or down. You can easily position the bass drum high or low, angled or flat. The bass drum fits in a case made for the same diameter of the drum. You don't need to pay more to buy a 22" case for a 20" drum.
Hoop Lugs
Custom hoop lugs are attached directly to the bass drum hoop, and will not shift around like traditional claws to scratch the hoop or affect the tuning. Our low profile hoops also decrease obnoxious stick interference during performance.
Arch 2.0 Lugs
Our exclusive Arch2 lugs were designed specifically to match the unique look of our famous arch style tube lugs found on upper level BSP snare drums. The self-aligning tension rod receivers ensure easy and consistent tuning.
